Data retention

TJW Command Center (The Joel Wall). Last updated October 16, 2026.

This page says how long the Command Center keeps each kind of data. A daily job removes data once it is older than its period. A period that is not set yet means nothing of that kind is removed automatically.

Periods

Page activity 180 days, then deleted
Password reset links, after they are used or expire 30 days, then deleted
Ask AI conversations 180 days, then deleted

Call and meeting transcript text (the ticket made from it stays) 730 days, then deleted
Voice note audio, once transcribed 90 days, then deleted

Kept for as long as the business needs them

  • Payment records, receipts and refunds (tax and accounting law).
  • Signed quotes and agreements.
  • Ad spend and cost records.
  • Text opt-outs (so we never text someone who said stop).
  • Approval and audit records (who changed what).
  • Client records, tickets and their comments, while TJW works with the client or until a deletion request.

Kept elsewhere

Call recordings are held by Fathom in TJW's recording archive and follow that archive's rules.
